    Anyone have any trouble with the 'complete' button? Everything in this video works but the system doesn't respond when the 'complete' button is pressed. It disconnects the call if the phone that picked up the call hangs up (after dialing 9 and the external number). Thoughts?

    Is it possible to skip the auto attendant and dial an extension directly? I noticed that when someone dials 234 as an extension, option number 2 answers the call. This happens because after dial 2 from the 234 extensions, the call goes straight to option 2? any advise

    This didn't help. She didn't say how these call rooutes relate to the phone lines. She didn't explain incoming sub address or incoming CLI.

    So good of you to make this! I just setup for an Admin Assistant, and found I only had Basic User and Power User as Profile choices. Setting to Power gave all the needed checkboxes to complete the task. She's extremely happy!

    I'm sorry, but you are wrong. You could very easily create a true false variable to check for a secondary date and build a Tuesday planner. This would work for the one time of the date in question or to be used in a variable holiday date setup. OYE. bad vid.

      You need to make additional true / false statement > Condition editor > add condition > add Calendar > Pick a date (note if it's blank it will not work so the date can be the day before.) | > add compare > Value A = $time | Is = Greater than or equal to | Value B = 12:00pm (the time you want). There are a couple ways to achieve this but this is what i decided to use. If you need help feel free to reach out to me.

      With a shortcode - I recommend starting a 4 digit short code. *New Short code (open number) Example# Code - *8601 | Feature - Voicemail Node | Telephone Number - (Name of the Shortcode in Voicemail Pro). Merge (Manager) & make live (VM Pro) and you are good to go. Dial your short code on the phone and check.

      Hey Usamah - Thanks for the comment! Auto transfer is typically setup inside the IP Office Manager administrative application. There are a number of ways to redirect calls based on the way they came in. You can always go to the user profile and click on Forwarding tab and Forward Unconditional if you need to redirect user calls. Keep in mind this, may not impact Group calls.

      Call recording for IP Office can be set at the administration level. However, some releases require Preferred Edition (aka Voicemail Pro). From that point, you can turn on Call Recording through the administration tool by adding a button to the users profile, setting up the user to record always or a percentage of their call, at the trunk level or at the group level. You can set this up in IP Office Manager. The IP Office Manager help tools can easily assist.

    From what i understand the Essential Edition enables Mobile Twinning for all users on R8.1,9.0 and 9.1. I have a basic user set up on extension 201 and i can check off mobile twinning for that user. with SIP trunks i am able to get the call on to the cell phone with the original caller ID as well. As soon as i pick up the call on the cell it connects but i have no audio either way. I think it may be a port issue on my router. can you tell me which ports i need to have open to allow two way audio on these calls?

    Based on your release it these end user entitlements give you access to such features as one-x, soft phone, and other key features that may be beneficial to a group of users or system wide.
